Frequently Asked Buyback Questions

• How long until I receive payment? How do you pay?

  Scottsdale Mint offers two choices for paying out orders; ACH or Bank Wire. ACH is the traditional choice ($10 fee) and can take 2-4 business days to be received in the sellerÔÇÖs account. Alternatively, we offer the choice to receive payment via bank wire for a fee of $25 that is applied to the trade.

• Is my shipment insured?

  If you are utilizing a shipping label provided by us, your shipment will be automatically insured, provided that packaging instructions are adhered to. If you are providing your own shipping label, you are responsible for insuring your shipment.

• How do I package my items?

  When preparing your items for shipping, ensure they are well protected with ample stuffing or bubble wrap to prevent movement during transit. Securely tape all tubes and use packaging material between larger bars to avoid contact during shipping. For added security, we recommend double-boxing your shipment: place your securely wrapped items in an inner box, then pack this box within an outer box, ensuring both are tightly sealed with tape covering all seams. Please use new, unmarked boxes and avoid those labeled for hazardous materials. Orders exceeding 500 oz should be split into separate packages. Print and attach the shipping label to both the inner and outer boxes. Upon receipt and verification by our team, you'll be notified via email, and payment will be processed promptly.

• Are there any hidden fees?

  The only fees involved are for fully insured shipping label(s) ($15-$75 based on weight) and a $10 payment fee for ACH or a $25 payment fee via bank wire transfer.

• I would like to personally deliver my items to you. Can I do that?

  No. Our mint facilities are secure facilities and are not open to the public.

• What types of products do you buy?

  We carry a wide variety of products and are always looking to expand our inventory. We buy bullion, numismatics, semi-numismatics, rare coins, and collectibles.

• How do I sell gold or silver to Scottsdale Mint?

  You can sell to Scottsdale Mint by submitting our buyback form letting us know what kind of items you want to sell, and our sales team will craft a custom competitive quote for your items.

• Do you have a minimum transacation?

  No, we do not have a minimum transaction for Scottsdale Mint bullion buybacks.
