In 2011, Mr. Phair orchestrated Scottsdale Mint’s acquisition of the precious metals investment bar manufacturing division from Materion Corporation. This move transformed Scottsdale Mint from a growing retailer to a U.S.-based precious metals manufacturer.

Since founding Scottsdale Mint, Mr. Phair has steered the ship in managing, trading, and hedging billions in precious metals, currencies, and, more recently, digital assets.

Before Scottsdale Mint, Mr. Phair spent nearly a decade in corporate insurance, specializing in operational and political risk management for major mining, refining, and waste companies across the United States, Latin America, and Africa.

Mr. Phair, a proud graduate of The Florida State University with a degree in Business Risk Management and Insurance, serves on the Advisory Board of Monarch Wallet. Dedicated to revolutionizing decentralized crypto solutions, he’s not just managing assets but also relishing his roles as a devoted husband and father of two.
